Picnic @ Periyakulam on 20th Jun 2010

Rotarians day was out on 20th Jun 2010 when they went on a picnic to Dr.Aruna Devaraj's Herbal farm at Periyakulam. Following photos explain their participation.

Rare Honour for RI District 3000:

The Visit of Rtn.Kalyan Banerjee, Rotary International President Nominee for 2011-2012, to madurai was a memorable moment on 30-May-2010.

Our governor Rtn.Purushothaman should have been a lucky person, since he is the first governor to host RI Director Ravindran and Incoming RI President (RIPE) for 2010-2011 Rtn.Ray Klinginsmith and RI President Nominee Rtn.Kalyan Banerjee. Our Governor takes the rare honour for bringing the top RI officials to for the first time to Madurai during his term.

29th March 2010 would be a date that deserves to be carved out in the history of RI District 3000. Rotary International's Incoming president (RIPE) Rtn.Ray Klinginsmith started his official world tour starting from Madurai. Thanks a lot to the efforts of RI Director Ravindran who was instrumental in bringing the RIPE to Madurai. Along with RIPE are Governor Puru, Incoming Governor Rtn.Valliappan and District trainer Rtn.T.R.
