District Seminar on Public Image : MIRROR

"MIRROR" the apt caption chosen for the District Seminar on Public Image - Program which was held at Hotel Sangam on 2nd October 2011 at Trichy which was sponsored by RC of Trichy MidTown.

Our president Rajagovindasamy along with our secretary Rajeshkanna, Balachandran, Anwar Basha, Veeramani & our new member Balaganesh attended the program.

In the morning session PDG R.KRISHNA of Mysore gave a key note address and he was followed by Mr.M.S.BALAJI who is into advertisement business was the Chief Guest who stressed the need for branding and confidence building.

Two young and energetic achievers, stole the afternoon program. First, it was Mr.Phanindar Sama, CEO of REDBUS.IN came all the way from Bangalore who spoke about the public image through vocational service. He told the audience that REDBUS.IN was born o

ut of sheer desperation in a sense that he couldn't get a bus ticket to go to his native Hyderabad from Bangalore. This happened 5years back and now anybody can book bus ticket on-line just like e-ticket for flights and Trains. Most of the southern states Omni bus operators are listed and very recently GOA state road transport corporation also joined and they are so happy that the results are encouraging and mind you, this is the one and only Govt Transport Dept to be listed. The associates of REDBUS.IN prefers to travel by bus if its a overnight journey from point A to point B which is also one of their principles.

Finally, Mr.Navneet who is an MBA spoke about creating public image through sportsmen. He worked with the some of the IPL teams to create a brand image for few of the teams. Finally, after a nice lunch the team Madurai West were back with new ideas to make Rotary image better in the eyes of the public at large in future.
